School Resource Officers & DARE Instructor

Caroline County currently employs two full time school resource officers and a full time DARE instructor.  The School Resource Officers are assigned to both Caroline High School and Caroline Middle School.  Their duties include mentoring students and handling law enforcement related matters that occur at the schools.  Master Deputy G. W. Honeycutt, our DARE instructor, goes from school to school instructing DARE (drug abuse resistance education) to our young people.    Deputy C. M. Hall is assigned to Caroline High School and Deputy W. M. Jones is assigned to Caroline Middle School.  Recently, our office received a new 2008 Dodge Magnum DARE patrol vehicle, pictured below.
